BOLT – Tata launches its most expected BOLT in Chennai at 4.4 lac price

Chennai, 23 Jan : Tata Motors  today  launched its most awaited Bolt, the all-new hatchback  in chennai. The Bolt follows the  Zest which is a sedan and is a part of the company’s `Horizonext’ strategy.

The Bolt is launched at a starting price of Rs 4.43 lakh (range from Rs 4.43 lakh to Rs 6.05 lakh ) for the petrol version (ex-showroom Chennai) & Rs 5.52 lakh (range from Rs 5.52 lakh to Rs 6.99 lakh) for the diesel version (ex-showroom Chennai).

The hatchback will be available in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant, which is powered by a 1.2 litre turbocharged multi-point fuel injection (MPFi) engine Revotron, will churn out maximum power of 90 PS and have a peak torque of 140 Nm. The diesel variant, which will come with a 75 Ps engine, will deliver 190 Nm torque.

The company has also added ninth generation advanced ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic brake-force distribution) by Bosch which ensures your safety in case of emergency braking by sensing the wheel speed, and prevents wheel lock-up while braking, thus maintaining directional control.It will also have an added safety feature in corner stability control (CSC).

Bolt will be the first hatchback with a multi-drive function. The built in MULTI-DRIVE feature lets you switch between three different driving modes: Sport  for burst of power, Eco for maximum fuel efficiency and City for a perfect balance of both.

With a large cabin space, travel is more comfortable and spacious. It has,  touch controlled FATC by which car temperature is regulated automatically for utmost comfort. Bolt has body hugging rugby shoulder seats which are also wide and ensures better back support. Epas (Electric Power Assisted Steering) with speed sensitivity and active return function helps drive with effortless maneuverability even in city traffic and also gives improved steering stability at all speeds.The active return feature aids in having full command as the steering wheel comes back to 95% of its steering position.

Tata bolt comes in 8 variants namely Tata Bolt XE, XM, XMS, XT in petrol version and Tata Bolt XE, XM, XMS and XT in diesel version.

Tata Bolt  is available in a total of five colour options, namely, venetian red, pristine white, platinum silver, dune beige, and sky grey.
